Irresolute Aircraft Accost After Package Has Shipped - CanadaPost

So I made a boo boo and did not run across that my Amazon order was being shipped to my old address when I was placing it. The parcel has already shipped through Canada Post and is en route. Does Canada Mail service accept change of delivery address while the package is in transit?

If you file a modify of accost (online) with Canada Post and pay the fee, you tin redirect your mail as long as you do it earlier it hits your local post office.

I know.... but this move happened more than than 6 months ago and I hadn't ordered anything from Amazon since.... so forgot to change my address there.... it was 1 of those encephalon lapse moments.... I didn't notice the different address until they sent the tracking info and it showed the package going to my old place, lol.

Sorry to say it, simply you are ***** out of luck. You lot can endeavor to contact the people who live there if it'southward not as well far away and see if they are willing to concord the parcel until you can selection it upwardly. You lot can really merely hope they pass up the parcel and ship it dorsum or else...they get a free package.

Even if it goes to the post office they tin can technically pick it upwardly by showing photo ID with the correct address on information technology.
