Re: Nikon D750: How to alter ISO/WB/Prototype Quality settings without turning on the LCD
Y'all tin assign ISO to the "Record" button (video) while in stills manner.
You tin can assign WB to the Fn button front bottom of the cam.
Cheque if you can assign Paradigm quality to the pv (preview) button.
That should piece of work while looking into the viewfinder and turning the bike.
I judge….

One of the first settings I inverse on the D750 when I got it was to set "d9" of the custom settings from Auto to Manual and and so "Light on dark", which turned the display from stark black on white to light greyness on dark grey. Works much better on low light situations.

Ane of the kickoff settings I changed on the D750 when I got information technology was to prepare "d9" of the custom settings from Motorcar to Transmission and and then "Calorie-free on dark", which turned the display from stark black on white to calorie-free grayness on dark grey. Works much better on low light situations.

My back screen still comes on when I change ISO with D9 set to manual.
So does mine, merely at least I can reduce that annoying glare. At outset, I did discover it distracting when the back screen came on equally I changed ISO, but after thousands of images taken, I really don't even notice it now. Mayhap a time to come firmware update volition change the setting, maybe not.

Like shooting fish in a barrel ISO works in Shutter priority and Program mode likewise, but yous are correct that it doesn't work in transmission since both control dials are already being used for other purposes.
