I am having trouble irresolute my document settings from picas to inches. I change them by Ctrl+clicking the ruler — but is in that location another way to do this and so the change stays every fourth dimension I open InDesign?
It's peachy that you know how to alter the measurement systems in the rulers by Control-clicking on them (or correct-clicking if you have a two-push mouse… I encourage you to get a two-button mouse, or — if you lot have an Apple magic mouse, just programme information technology to practise a "right-click" when you lean information technology to the right). You tin also change them with a keyboard shortcut.

For example, you lot can add together color swatches to the Swatches panel, or new styles to the Paragraph Styles panel, or alter various settings in the preferences dialog box, then on. Not all the controls in the Preferences dialog box are certificate-wide; some are application wide (they change the app, whether documents are open up or not). Read more about that here and go a visual guide to which is which hither.
